Ürdün, resmî adıyla Ürdün Hâşimi Krallığı, Orta Doğu'da bulunan bir Arap ülkesidir. Ülkenin güneybatıda bulunan 26 km kıyısı Akabe Körfezi yoluyla Kızıldeniz'e açılmaktadır. Akabe Körfezi Ürdün'ü Mısır'dan ayırır. Ürdün yarı kurak bir ülke olup yüz ölçümü 89 bin km², nüfusu yaklaşık 10 milyondur. Bu da Ürdün'ü 11. en kalabalık Arap ülkesi yapmaktadır. Halkının %95'i Sünni Müslüman olan Ürdün'ün resmî dini İslam'dır, ayrıca Hristiyan azınlık da bulunur. Başkenti ve en büyük şehri Amman'dır.
